GENERAL SUMMARY: As a Family Dollar Store Manager you will responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, provide leadership, sales management and build strong teams to support the communities we serve. A key priority includes directing the daily operation of the store.

Under the direction of the District Manager, you will also be responsible for maintaining inventories, store appearance, hiring and staffing the store, and completing daily paperwork.

The Store Manager directs the leadership team in fostering a positive work environment that ensures both internal and external customer satisfaction, maximizes productivity and drives sales.

Skills & Competencies:

Results Driven, Communication Skills, Relationship Management.

Minimum educational level:

High School graduate or equivalent.
Minimum experience:

1 year Previous apparel retail management experience preferred.
6 months of retail store Management experience supervising teams preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store employees.
Ability to maneuver around sales floor, back room and office areas.
Ability to lift and carry 45 lbs.
Schedule Requirements:

Open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, including opening and closing shifts, to meet the needs of the business.
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
